Trad Maternity:
For over half a century, Trad Hospital has been dedicated
to women's health care at the highest levels.
From an eight-bed maternity hospital in 1940, to the
advanced secondary care medical center it became today, the beautiful
building in Clemenceau now houses the busiest maternity facility
in the country.
Our team of highly trained obstetricians and gynecologists
includes sub-specialists in the fields of Maternal-Fetal Medicine,
Reproductive Endocrinology, and Gynecologic Oncology and Urology.
Together with twelve midwives, attending neonatologists, and a neonatal
intensive care unit, supported by twenty-four hour anesthesiology,
adult intensive care, and blood bank services, our department handles
all kinds of high-risk pregnancies and complicated pelvic surgeries.
In caring for the mother, Trad Hospital is also concerned with the
developing fetus, as the hospital provides up-to-date prenatal diagnosis,
including the following:
Genetic counseling
Advanced
fetal ultrasonography
Amniocentesis
Chorionic
villus sampling
Other interventional
procedures
Other services:
Medical and surgical treatment for cancer patients
Stress incontinence
for female patients
Urinary problems
for female patients
Our mission is to develop and upgrade guidelines and
strategies to provide our patients with the best medical care in
a most hospitable and friendly environment, whether in our exquisite
Labor and Delivery Suite or on our medical and surgical floors.
This is achieved by keeping in mind our sophisticated administrative
edge.
In addition to standard epidural analgesia, Trad Hospital
continues to use the successful full obstetrical analgesia (TAC),
introduced by Dr. Sami Trad.
